{"id":411,"date":"2012-04-10T22:50:59","date_gmt":"2012-04-11T06:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.rev.mydaye.com\/?p=411"},"modified":"2012-04-10T22:50:59","modified_gmt":"2012-04-11T06:50:59","slug":"centurylink-prism-tv-looking-pretty-good","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.mydaye.com\/?p=411","title":{"rendered":"CenturyLink Prism TV looking pretty good"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"initial-letter\"><p>After 4 years of Cox Communications continually raising their monthly bills for cable TV I finally dropped signed up for CenturyLink&#8217;s Prism.<\/p>\n<p>Back last year when they introduced it here in the Vegas area I was a little skeptical whether TV across DSL\/Ethernet would be viable, especially with the Microsoft MediaRoom software on the cable box being one of those Microsoft apps that still needs a bit of shaking out before primetime.<\/p>\n<p>Well I can ultimately say that the TV image is better than cable and I&#8217;m glad I made the leap.  Now if only I could cut the strings to Cox for high speed internet.  When CenturyLink can get a higher speed to my house for both the Prism and my Internet browsing I&#8217;m in &#8211; especially with the hardware problems I continually have with Cox&#8217;s internet.  And they cannot seem to correct it not from trying but from the annoying nature of their tech support.
