{"id":4389,"date":"2021-01-11T00:59:16","date_gmt":"2021-01-11T00:59:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.rev.mydaye.com\/?p=4389"},"modified":"2021-07-31T17:16:40","modified_gmt":"2021-07-31T17:16:40","slug":"a-mask-on-the-chin-doesnt-help","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.mydaye.com\/?p=4389","title":{"rendered":"A mask on the chin doesn&#8217;t help"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"initial-letter\"><div>\n<div>In this day of COVID, I am struggling with mask wearing mandates that are less than helpful and probably more harmful than anything else.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I am sitting here in the Garage Bar in Las Vegas and their requirement for masks is that you have it on&#8230;on your face somewhere &#8211; could be your chin or just dangling from your ears.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><em><strong>That&#8217;s not how it works<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; it needs to entirely COVER both nostril holes and fully enclose the mouth otherwise it just isn&#8217;t filtering anything!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Now to address the single biggest concern I have with masks&#8212;-they don&#8217;t work!
