I think neuroticism as a personality trait has become the default for so many people in the US and the world over.  Back when we were kids all our friends where cool little dudes.  Right?!!!  Some people were extroverted and still some others were neurotic but that was the kid everyone poked fun at I seem to remember but pretty positive, stand-up kinda guys and gals.<\/div>\n

So is it just me or did the GenY\/millenial generations all lean too far forward to neurotic over some of the other more positive personality traits.  Listen to TV or go through Facebook\/Twitter and someone is putting all the characteristics of the neurotic personality out for everyone to see.  I know companies are not helping by amplifying the hyperbolic lower-end scare tactic material but all you have to do is turn it off and do something else.  Don’t let it take over your life and circle the depression drain.<\/div>\n

America is a pretty awesome place, the earth isn’t burning, and believe it or not we are not going to hell in a handbasket.  Yeah, the water is a problem in some places.  Yeah, some cops shouldn’t be on the job.  Yeah, your 401k isn’t going to hold you over till the end.
