This transition signifies a movement away from pride-driven competition towards a more cooperative, service-oriented, and content mindset.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>From &#8220;Greed is Good&#8221; (Gordon Gekko ethos)<\/div>\n<div>Core values: Self-interest, ambition, acquisition, competition, entitlement, perceived upward progress via desire.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The reason I call bullshit is that being humble hasn&#8217;t gotten me anywhere good. I&#8217;m not holding the door open for someone who&#8217;s only going to get in line before me for my troubles. Besides when was the last time someone else looked out for me? I know that&#8217;s the dick part of this wondering: what&#8217;s in it for me? But well, that&#8217;s really it right. At some point you have to realize that nice guys finish last and don&#8217;t get the girl, the job, or the glory. That&#8217;s movie shit that doesn&#8217;t happen in real life.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You wanna know who finished first? The one who did.<\/div>\n<div class=\"postie-post\">\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You wanna know who got the girl (or in my case, the guy)? The one who did.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>You wanna know who got the glory?
