What a douche!) But, I digress&#8230; first of all, listening to 1989 album Janet Jackson&#8217;s&nbsp;<b>Rhythm Nation 1814<\/b>, more specifically Ms. Jackson&#8217;s&nbsp;<b><i>Livin\u2019 in a World (They Didn\u2019t Make)<\/i><\/b> and the ending struck me poignantly but so eerily. Nearly forty years ago the song fades out with a reporter saying words we have gotten way too familiar with today about gun violence and school shootings. I myself do not recall school shootings from the 80s &#8211; I was a kid in the 80s so I think I would have remembered school shootings. The first school shooting I remember hearing about on the news was Columbine like most of us. But the lyrics &#8212; again, FROM 1989 are included below just so you see what I mean.
