Last night was much better though so maybe the tide has turned.

I supplemented a little with nuts and veg chips (bean nacho and parsnip chips) so I got a couple hundred extra calories but nothing too significant so still WAY UNDER my normal calorie count.

In the thick of day 5 since I did not post yesterday and ready for a hamburger or something hearty this weekend. Tomorrow will fall back to normal but as I am moving to keto my ‘normal’ really won’t be normal.

I’ve done keto before but I am truly hopeful that this FMD his not only kickstarted the system reboot but also already gotten me into ketosis so all I have to do is maintain it. With that in mind I nixed the high plans for how I would break the fast so tomorrow morning will be oats+fiber for the mid-morning first meal and soup, nuts, chips for the second meal with more soup, nuts, and chips for the last meal.

There are quite a few takeaways from this FMD. I have fallen in love with olives and minestrone soup. I also have a new affection for plain soup.

Looking for the next FMD round next month – updates to come on how this is helping.

Day 4 was a little odd – my sleep has been a little less than stellar.
