London riots give a little pause to all the haves against the have nots

I was traveling to Germany when I learned of the riots in London and what was remarkable was how wide-spread and cross social boundaries the looting spread. When you looked at the faces it covered different ages, ethnicities, but the class was generally the same – the lower end.

All the haves of the world should take this as a wake up call – if ever the have nots turn against them there won’t be any B&O stores left. After all, think about it in the US where the top 400 richest people have the wealth of 100 million at the other end. That’s not a ratio we should ever forget. Mind you there are 200+ million in between but I would probably ponder that the top 1500 people control the same wealth of the 200 million people on the other side. There is some real disparity here. And we are not the only one – in some countries the top 1 or 2 have the same wealth power as millions on the other end.

I cannot recall how the distribution of wealth in the UK is laid out but I have been on High Street and the Hyde Park area of London and there are lots of things I can’t afford just imagine the most regular Brit trying to get it legitimately.

Haves, let me appeal to your good judgement, let some of that wealth trickle down honestly or there will probably be more dishonest taking around the globe as more and more people see that a couple years in prison is nothing to living a lifetime at the bottom looking longingly at the haves sipping the best champagne or eating the best caviar.
