Samsung Galaxy woes just getting started

Ever since Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 smartphones started setting their owners’ pockets afire and exploding in all manner of situations, Samsung has been in scramble mode. The reason I say that is simple… I bought a Galaxy 7 Edge back in September right BEFORE the Note battery issues started happening.  I thought “Glad I didn’t buy one of those!” then the realization hit me…both phones probably have that problem – seems only that the Galaxy 7 hasn’t started exploding though.

Truthfully, I have been expecting the email saying bring your phone in for replacement to arrive any day now.  They know there is a problem. Why do i
i say that? Ever since some update in mid December my phone does not charge completely even though it is charging completely.  What I mean is before the update it would take quite a while to charge completely and the battery would last me almost the whole day.  Since that Dec update though, the phone charges for roughly 2hours to say 100% charged, it used to take a little more than 1hr.  Now the phone lasts about 3 hours before it is on a last leg.  I guess they changed the firmware so it doesnt charge fast and not completely so fewer chances of explosion.  Of course my iPhone 6s would charge for a few hours and last more than a day so it is a struggle to say the least now since it was better before this last update.

So for any of you with a Galaxy 7 or 7Edge, get ready something’s going on here.  I am certain the problems have only just started since if you root and change the OS their firmware would not affect you so some explosions will occur.  Of course they will blame the rooting and recovery build or the new distro build or whatever.  But it comes down to there is a problem in their manufacturing process that they better fix and I mean PDQ!!!
