Now I’ve been a tech person for all my adult life and even a little before, but I have to say that some of this upgrading is hard to make work simply because many different developers create the application, the application’s plug-ins, and others design/build other widgets to extend the base function of the blog. I just updated a particular plug-in and when it is activated it goes complete ape-shit. Then when I look around, it is starting to look like I never had it installed correctly in the first case. I didn’t really use it. It was one of those things you say “yeah, that’s cool!” and toil to get it installed but never really decide how to put it into action. So that’s the word of the day and the suggestion to the Congress of the United States – before you jump into something, figure out if you will really put the time in and make it work — not just the way you want it to work – but the actual way it should be working. Otherwise why waste the time and effort going through the motions? I say this because of this $700 BILLION plan to kickstart the economic markets they are currently considering. We’re 40 days away from a presidential election, so I highly doubt there will be enough will and action on all the elected representatives’ part to put the work behind this. So it will land on the professional government workers who I believe should not be put in the predicament of putting something this big into practice without some people high enough up covering their collective butts! Don’t ask me how I started out on upgrading and went to the bail-out. But I said I would get back to it on an earlier post. So there you are.
