I remember “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful” used to be the saying back in the day. Where did all those beautiful people go? I just got in from seeing one of the silly movies of this cinematic season. Prom Night is just another one of those moviex subtly based around the Halloween ilk — just much more formuliac. You know exactly what is going to happen and is ridiculously predictive! If you haven’t spent the $15 yet to see it, believe me just don’t waste your money. It is one of those movies that waiting to see on HBO is too much for… You have been duely warned.

Just so you know: I have not been in a cave for the last 10 years so this isn’t something that I just realized, but I am becoming seriously aware that EVERYONE has at least 1 tattoo somewhere. I cannot pinpoint exactly when it happened but it seems to be everywhere-the young, the old, the fat, the skinny, black, white, latin, Asian and everyone in between. Now don’t get me wrong I like tattooes. I have two of my own, but it is really really scary to see that ”ink” becoming so “passee” now. “Blasse” even.
