On this Halloween I was pleasantly surprised today to have watched the best movie from Hollywood in quite a while.   The Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese starring Leonardo di Caprio.  Good movie worth the 3.5 hrs about the Osage Indians of Oklahoma who became the richest people per capita because of the oil on their land only to find the trouble called white people who tried their damnedest to take it by every means necessary including numerous murders.

Haven’t been down to America’s Street in a while but Fremont is still what it is. And I’m glad to report that… if it had changed dramatically like I’d student l suddenly there were hot mother fuckers walking about I would have to report this from the local hospital after falling out dumbstruck!!!!

Not just a catchy song anymore.   This is the way I feel most days but ESPECIALLY when I’m visiting downtown Fremont Street. But sitting here with a beer and a Washington apple shot with all I know and believe it’s coming my way… I’m pretty blessed!!!!!!

Still so far so good with the new business.  Got lots done last week further establishing the business – utilities in the company’s name is WAY cool!  Coming up here in the next couple hours… my first official business conference call not related to obtaining startup funding.  Well, I guess this call is about funding but it is for funding the actual platform business.  Next thing you’ll know I’ll be in real live business meetings in person.  Yes, in person, I hate ZOOM.

What’s the difference between braids and corn rows (or is it rolls?  I’m really asking I just don’t know.  But here in Palm Springs on a whim after operating the business this week.   Either way this just is draining. 

Just finished re-watching Mike Judge’s 2006 film Idiocracy.  I must say I think prediction of the future is just about true for right now.

Things either:  Get better, get worse, or stay the same. Once you come to grips with this you can put the appropriate energy into things going toward the eventuality you want. The bigger issue however… just because you want things to get better doesn’t mean others want that too!  Some people just enjoy seeing the smoke rise up from the ash.
