Day 3 in the books

Today was pretty hard as expected so I’m not gonna lie about it I added a lot.  A couple servings of nuts, some bean chips and parsnip chips too. The good thing is that I am  probably still on track.  As a 200+lb man 1200-1300cal is still way low for me and lest I forget I took almost a 2hr walk which is absolutely not recommended during the fast so…I’m probably good. All’s well all’s good on the FAST

Day 2 went well, I got some things done around the house with pretty good energy available so the FAST is progressing well even though today had fewer calories than yesterday. Approx 800cal which is way too low and I expected that I would have to add some nuts off book.  So I added the nuts which I need to do since I have to take medicine with food but then also added the cucumber and baby carrots so I am not starving too badly but all in all less than 250 added calories so still going strong. Day 2 on deck

So day 1 of the fasting mimicking diet is coming to a close.   Really easy I must say with only one slip with a handful of pecans but this is the start and it was the day with the most calories. Tomorrow and the rest will have 20% fewer calories so to make it all the way through I might have to do 1oz of mixed nuts. On way or another I am hopeful that this will end well next Friday night when I move to the transition day. Stay tuned tomorrow for the 800cal day!
